The last day of the National Cherry Festival has arrived. It is definitely a bittersweet day as we do not want the fun to come to an end, but on the other hand it will be nice to get back to some normalcy and have Dad back. I started off the day with a 5k race. Proud to say that I achieved my goal of beating my best previous time and getting a personal record. It was a nice morning for a run. Then I got the kids and headed to Coldwell Banker Schmidt for some parade fun. This year they went all out and had quite the party with bounce houses, kids games, face painting, food, and sno cones. It was a HOT one and the parade is always a little too long for us to make all the way through. Carson was in definite need of a nap! Later that night we headed down to watch the fireworks with our friends. The kids kept busy with chalk, glow necklaces and popcorn while waiting for the fireworks. We enjoyed the show and had to say goodbye to our friends that we have made wonderful memories with. Until next year....
