Trevor celebrated his 34th birthday last Sunday. He had class on Friday and Saturday in Flint, so the kids and I were happy he could be home for his actual birthday on Sunday. We made him cupcakes while he was gone to surprise him when he got home Saturday night. The kids had a blast decorating the cupcakes and could not wait to eat one! On Sunday we went Geocaching through the State Hospital grounds. It was a beautiful day to explore and look for treasure as a family.

Gymnastics
Lauren started gymnastics at the YMCA. She goes every Thursday evening for the next six weeks. She was so excited to go to gymnastics, but when we got there she was a little apprehensive because it was very busy and overwhelming with girls running all around. She was brave though and joined right in with the class and she's very glad she did. She had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back next week. She even came home that night and had to practice her gymnastics in the living room.

First Day of School
Lauren is so excited for school this year! She is in preschool again with the same teacher and the same classroom which makes for a pretty easy adjustment. She went 2 half days last year and will be going 2 full days this year. She is excited to stay the whole day and eat lunch at school! Here are some pictures from her first day.

Lauren's First Dentist Appointment
Lauren went to the dentist today for her very first visit. She was a little nervous at first, but she did very well! It probably helps that the dentist is Nana's work and she has been there numerous times before to visit. Camden came as well and stayed occupied in Nana's office while Lauren got her teeth cleaned. She was a big helper for the hygienist and held the mirror and used the suction by herself. She was most excited about the new toothbrush and goodie bag she got afterward. And she even got to sign the No Cavity Club sign! Way to go Lauren! We are so proud of you!
