Skippyjon Jones

We took the older two kids to the Opera House yesterday to see the musical Skippyjon Jones. It was a cute show and the kids really enjoyed it. It was Camden's first time there to watch a show and he did really good sitting and being quiet during the performance. We couldn't take pictures of the show, but I got a few before it started.

Army crawling

Carson has mastered the army crawl. He is definitely on the move now! He uses a combination of rolling and army crawling to get where he wants to go. He can get into all of his siblings toys now and he's pretty quick!

Gymnastics

Both Lauren and Camden are doing gymnastics this year at the YMCA. Lauren jumped right back into it like she didn't skip a beat. Camden and I are doing a toddler-parent class. He is loving it! If he "passes" this class he will be able to go the same night as his sister (which will make it easier for mom). So far he is mastering the skills he needs so it shouldn't be long.

Surprise 30th

Leslie planned a surprise 30th birthday party for my brother Dusty. She did a wonderful job because he did not have a clue!! Adam and Dusty went hunting during the day and then Dusty had to be home for a dinner date with his bride. We all parked down the road and hid in the dark until he came around the corner. He was truly surprised which made it all worth it!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for our wonderful family, especially our three little blessings. Life has taken on a whole new meaning with them. We were able to spend the day with many of our extended family as well and we did not go hungry! We hope you were able to spend time with the ones you love this year.

Fun at the Park

Trevor is away this weekend at the Michigan Festival and Events Association conference. That leaves this momma alone with her three precious babies. We had some fun today in the beautiful fall weather. We played outside and got some stuff done around the house and then we headed to the Grelickville park for more fun. The kids played on the structure, swung on the swings, threw rocks into the water, wrote their names in the sand, and found some fish in the creek. Then we had dinner at McDonald's to top off the day. I'm so glad I got some alone time with my little loves.

Trick or Treat

This year Lauren decided she wanted to be a flower for Halloween and Camden wanted to be a bumblebee. So we thought it would be nice if Carson was a bumblebee too! My mom made some wonderful costumes for the kids out of fleece so they were nice and warm. The kids went downtown Trick or Treating last Friday with Nana, Grandma and Grandpa Tkach and Dad. We made a trip to see Great Grandma too. Then on Halloween we went Trick or Treating around our neighborhood. After that we stopped by Nana and Papa's house and uncle Dusty and aunt Leslie's house. On our way home we stopped by Moomers for a treat as well. It was a busy night filled with sugar, but we had some fun!!

Carving Pumpkins

We carved our pumpkins last weekend. We made a trip to Gallagher's Farm to get some more pumpkins and have some fun in their hay maze and looking at the animals. Then the kids drew the faces they wanted on the pumpkins and Mom and Dad helped to carve them the way they had designed. Both the older kids helped to gut the pumpkins. Lauren wasn't too sure she wanted to do that part, but once she got in there she did just fine. I'm sure next year Carson will be a big help too!
