Winter Wow!Fest

This weekend is the annual Winter Wow!Fest. The older kids came with me and Nana to enjoy the festivities this morning. We started out at the Cherry pancake breakfast. It was yummy! The kids got to see the Cherry Queen and have their faces painted. Then we went down the tubing hill several times and walked around to see the snow and ice sculptures. We also had a chance to see some dogs participate in the Dog Pull. It was a little cold with the wind blowing off the bay, but we sure had a good time!

Carson is walking!

Carson took his first few steps the other day. His primary method of choice is still to crawl as he is much faster this way, but he has taken 10-15 steps between mom and dad. He also loves to walk to his older siblings and give them big hugs. It won't be too long before we are running after him! Try this link to see him in action. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbNCHn1_aAM. (You will have to cut and paste since I can't get an active link to work)

Learning to Ski

We took advantage of the beautiful sunshine and took the older two kids skiing out at Crystal Mountain. Lauren went last year, but this was Camden's first time! Mom and Dad got a workout on the bunny hill with the kids teaching them how to ski. Lauren really seemed to get it this year and learned really fast. Camden was a little hesitant and got easily frustrated, but in the end he did a great job. Lauren was brave enough to try a big hill with Dad and got to ride up the chair lift!!

Toothless

Lauren lost her first tooth the other night! She was a little shocked by the whole experience and it has taken some getting used to having a hole there. She left her tooth out for the Tooth Fairy and was surprised to find a dollar there in the morning.
