Wine Tasting

Today we did a wine tasting tour of the Old Mission wineries. There was a Macaroni and Cheese bake off between 14 of the local restaurants so we had mac n cheese tastes at each stop to accompany our wine tastes. Trevor and I went with Dusty and Leslie and our cousin Colette and her boyfriend Bryan. A great time was had by all!

Day Trip

We decided to head to Grand Rapids for a day trip to see the MSU girls basketball team play at VanAndel Arena. Lauren loves to watch them play and a trip to GR is shorter than East Lansing so we took advantage of that! We met up with our friends Kevin and Mary to watch the game. Lauren has been wanting to go to Chuck E. Cheese since seeing commercials on TV so we headed down early and had lunch there. The kids had a great time! It was a BUSY day, but we all had a lot of fun!

First Haircuts

Both Lauren and Camden had their first haircuts yesterday! Camden's hair was starting to look like a mullet and Lauren's hair was in need of a trim so her curls won't get so snarly. Grandma Tkach came over to our house to trim both of their hair. Here are some before and after shots.

Happy Halloween!

What a great year Trick or Treating! The kids really enjoyed themselves and Lauren loved going door to door. She really got into it this year and Camden tried his best to keep up with his big sister! The kids went trick or treating at the downtown stores on Friday afternoon and then again Saturday night. Of course we have WAY TOO much candy!
