Another busy day for us. We started off with the morning at home which was a nice change of pace. I was able to get some housework done. In the afternoon we met up with our friends to watch some Ultimate Air Dogs jump (one of my favorites). Then we ran in Carter's Kids Fun Run prior to the Junior Royale Parade. It was a mile run/walk for kids. Lauren, Camden, Trevor and I all ran it along with our friends Kristi, Kylynn and Addisyn. It was HOT, but the kids did considerably well and got popsicles at the end of the race. Then we had a picnic dinner while waiting for the parade to start. The kids always love the parades. Nana was nice and took my kids home after the parade to put them to bed while I joined Kristi, Jason and Kari at the Global Wine and Beer Garden for an adult night out. We even visited the beer tent which brought back memories of our younger years. Of course it's always nice when we can run into Trevor at the events if he's not too busy.
