We attended both the Junior Royale and Cherry Royale Parades this week. We went to the Junior Royale Parade with Nana and some friends of ours, the Dykstra family and the Agius family. Both parades were quite hot and the kids lost interest toward the end, but overall they had a wonderful time. Dad was able to meet us for a while at both parades which is a special treat as he is so busy during Cherry Festival week that the kids don't get to spend a lot of time with him. The Cherry Royale Parade was this morning and we went with Grandpa and Grandma and had a nice picnic prior to the start of the parade.
