We attempted camping out in our backyard last weekend. The kids were SO EXCITED to help put up the tent and get everything set up for a night of sleeping outdoors. We told stories and played puppet shadows with flashlights. At about 10pm Camden asked me, "sleep in bed?" So that was it for Mom and Camden. We enjoyed a full night's sleep in our beds. Trevor and Lauren made it until about 2am when Dad got tired of sleeping on an air mattress that was losing air! Lauren was confused in the morning when she woke up in her bed. She went searching for Dad in the tent and couldn't find him. It was a good thing we slept inside because we forgot to turn off the sprinkling system.
