We are off and running with the 2010 National Cherry Festival. We started the day at the Big Wheel Race with Lauren. She did well for her first race and will definitely be practicing more for next year! She had a lot of fun and loved the ribbon she got for finishing. She also saw Mr. Cherry and the Cherry Queen while at the race. Then we headed off to see the air show and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. The kids absolutely LOVED the Blue Angels. Camden was so excited through the whole show. My cousin Colette and her boyfriend Bryan joined us for the fun. My mom was also there and our friends Julie, James and Mikayla Dykstra too! We ended the day with dinner at the Open Space and a short visit with Dad. Bryan showed off his cherry pit spitting skills and took first place. There will be more fun to come!
