Trevor celebrated the big 3-5 this year. I planned a get-away weekend for just the two of us. My mom watched the kids overnight and we went to Detroit for a Tigers game. On the way down we stopped at Birch Run to do some shopping. We stayed downtown Detroit so we were able to walk everywhere. After the game we went to Greektown and ate and walked around. It was fun. We used to do things like that before we had kids so it was nice to have that time together. Of course we missed the kids some. :) Trevor had to work late on his actual birthday, but the kids made it special by making birthday cards. We sang happy birthday and ate some cupcakes.
