The National Cherry Festival has begun! It was an eventful day and a warm one at that! We started the morning with the Big Wheel Race. Both Lauren and Camden participated. Lauren did much better this year at keeping her bike in her lane and made it the whole way without help. Camden got a little frustrated at the start and got a bit off track, but made it to the end. All kids get a ribbon for participating so everyone won in our book. Then we took in the Air Show over West Bay. It was not a Blue Angels year, but the kids loved the planes all the same. It was fun to find them in the sky. We ended the afternoon cooling down in the sprinklers. More fun to come so stayed tuned.
