St. Patrick's Day

I know I'm a little late getting to this! I've really slacked the month of March with blogging. On St. Patrick's Day, I ran in a 5K race called the Leapin' Leprechaun. The Cherry Festival put it on so Trevor was a very busy man prior to and during the race. It was a very warm morning for a run, especially for the middle of March. Last year there was snow on the ground. Despite running in my leprechaun garb, I posted one of my best 5K times! The best part was the complimentary beer afterward in the beer tent with live music. Later that evening we went to Trevor's cousin's annual Green Dinner party in celebration of her birthday. Everything you eat is green naturally or died green with food coloring. It can be a bit interesting, but surprisingly the kids love it! We did our best to dress in green, but it was warmer than expected so I was not prepared for short-sleeved weather. Carson did not have a single article of green clothing that would work, but I figured he could slide since he was a baby. No body pinched him!
