We had an eventful weekend full of work and play. We did some yard work, painted some in the basement, changed the brakes on the car, and did normal household chores. But we found time for fun too. The kids ran through the sprinklers today since it was a gorgeous day. They got out the slip and slide (and made Dad join in the fun) and had water fights with the hose and squirt guns. We also went putt-putt golfing and out to dinner. Amidst all the work and play we took time out to remember what Memorial Day is all about. We want to thank all of the people who have served and are currently serving our country and fighting for our freedom. We stopped by Memorial Gardens to visit our loved ones who have passed as well. It was a nice weekend spent with our family.
