Lauren and I had a Mommy-daughter date on Thursday. It was a very busy night because she had gymnastics and then we grabbed dinner before heading downtown to the Opera House to see the Aluminum Show. It is a dance group that uses aluminum in their routine along with lights and music. We had great seats in the front row of the balcony which meant Lauren could see everything. You technically were not supposed to take pictures, but I sneaked a few. She had a blast and even got to take home a piece of aluminum confetti that they shot off during the finale. She has been so excited to show everyone this and is planning on taking it in for show-and-tell at preschool.
