Trevor and I spent New Year's Eve downtown TC at the Cherry-T Ball drop. People were supposed to bring a canned good for the Goodwill Industries, hence the name Cherry-T (charity) Ball drop. The Cherry Festival had a tent and was selling hot dogs and hot chocolate. All proceeds also went to Goodwill, so Trevor and I helped work the event. It was fun to be downtown with all the festive atmosphere and ring in 2011 with a crowd of people celebrating! There were fireworks at midnight after the ball dropped too. The weather was pretty mild so we didn't really get that cold. The kids would have loved it. Maybe in the future we will bring them down to witness it.
